The dig continues while you're away
Your dig team keeps breaking layers with the app closed — clearing strata, earning Excavation Points, and turning up fossils. Up to 8 hours of it accrues offline (24 with Premium), and collecting it is always free and instant.
100 real prehistoric species
Each find joins the Fossil Log with its English and Japanese name, scientific name, period, approximate length, diet and locality — plus its Paleobiology Database taxon ID, so you can check the science yourself.
Descend through time
When a dig site is worked out, descend into older strata. You trade your current depth for Specimen Value — a permanent multiplier that makes every future dig faster, and takes you deeper than you could reach before.
Idle that actually idles
Offline progress here isn't a small consolation payout. Your team's damage per second keeps being applied to real rock: layers fall, boss seams break, points accumulate, and fossils come out of the ground while you are doing something else. When you come back, the base reward is yours immediately, with no ad in the way. If you feel like doubling it, there's an optional ad — and that's the only thing the ad does.
Nothing you break is alive
The thing you tap is a rock face. The tough ones are mineral seams. There is no combat and no creature takes a hit — the whole game is you, a pickaxe, and several hundred million years of sediment. There is no gacha and nothing randomized is ever sold; the only purchase in the app is one fixed, one-time unlock.
Rare finds, dressed for the occasion
Fossils come in four rarity tiers, mapped from how commonly a species is actually found and how well known it is. The rarer the find, the more elaborate the frame and the reveal, with an iridescent flourish reserved for the ten Ultra Rare crowns. Rarity is never shown by colour alone — the frame shape and star count read it too.

Nine eras, one shaft
Depth and geological age are the same axis. The shallow layers are the Quaternary — mammoths, sabre-toothed cats, things your grandparents' grandparents might almost have met. Keep descending and the rock gets older: the Mesozoic and its headline dinosaurs, then the Paleozoic and its stranger residents. The Fossil Log is laid out the same way, so how deep you have dug and how full your collection is are the same picture.

A dig team of 33
Hire and level up 33 original watercolor characters, each of whom digs on their own — even while you rest. Deciding what to buy next, and knowing when to stop and descend, is the whole strategy of the game. Boss layers every ten strata mark the milestones.
Gentle by design
Rarity is shown three ways at once — frame colour, frame shape and star count — so it reads without relying on colour. A Reduce Effects switch turns off screen shake, flashes and flying debris while digging works exactly the same. Abbreviated numbers like 4.83K are read out properly by VoiceOver. Sound effects and vibration each have their own switch, and everything works with both turned off. One reminder a day, at 8 PM, and only when offline rewards are actually waiting for you.
Premium (one-time purchase)
US$5.99 / ¥1,000, non-consumable. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — there is no auto-renewal and no second charge. Restore Purchase is supported.
- No ads. Ad buttons disappear for good; because they're gone, the same boost is yours three times a day without watching anything.
- Offline progress up to 24 hours instead of 8.
- Auto-dig — the game taps for you at a steady rate so your hand can rest. Your own taps still count and are simply added, up to the same overall limit.
Everything in the game can still be reached without paying. Premium removes waiting, not content — and we will never sell the ad-free experience back to you under another name.
Honest notes
- The restoration illustrations are made with generative AI. They are original watercolor-style artwork, not photographs, and body colour and soft tissue are always interpretation.
- Every species is real. Scientific names, periods and localities are taken from the Paleobiology Database (CC BY 4.0), and each entry shows its taxon ID. Body length and diet are editorial estimates and are not covered by that source — the app says so on the entry itself.
- Restorations are interpretations, and other reconstructions exist. Where the evidence is thin, the entry tells you that rather than pretending otherwise. See Sources & Credits.
- This is a game, not an identification or appraisal tool. It does not tell you what a real fossil is, and it never talks about what one might be worth.
- Which fossil you turn up is random, but Excavation Points cannot be purchased — they come only from digging, idle time and optional ads. There is no gacha, no loot box, and no randomized item is ever sold.
- Ads are rewarded video only — two of them, both optional: double points for 15 minutes, and doubling an offline reward you have already been given in full. There are no banners and no forced interstitials, and every feature keeps working when an ad can't be shown.
- Your progress lives on your iPhone. There is an iCloud backup you trigger yourself and a restore you confirm yourself — that is disaster recovery, not device-to-device sync.

発掘隊員は、アプリを閉じている間も地層を砕き続けます。層を突破し、発掘ポイント（EP）を稼ぎ、化石を掘り当てることも。オフラインでたまるのは最大8時間ぶん（プレミアムは24時間）。受け取りは常に無料・即時です。
実在100種の古生物
出土した化石は図鑑に収録。和名・英名・学名・年代・体長（概数）・食性・産出地に加えて、Paleobiology Database の taxon ID も表示するので、ご自身で出典をたどれます。
地質年代を遡行する
掘り尽くしたら、より古い地層へ潜行（プレステージ）。いまの深度と引き換えに「標本価値（SV）」を得ます。SV は永続の倍率になり、次の発掘を速く、そしてこれまで届かなかった深さまで連れていきます。
「放置」が、ほんとうに放置として働く
ここでのオフライン進行は、気休めの小さな配布ではありません。隊員のDPSは実際の岩盤に適用され続け、層が落ち、ボス鉱脈が砕け、ポイントが積み上がり、あなたが別のことをしている間に化石が地面から出てきます。戻ってきたとき、基本の報酬は広告をはさまず即座に受け取れます。2倍にしたければ任意の広告がありますが、広告がするのはそれだけです。
砕くのは、生きものではありません
タップする対象は岩盤です。手強いものは鉱脈です。戦闘はなく、生きものが傷つく場面もありません。あるのは、あなたとつるはしと、数億年分の堆積物だけ。ガチャはなく、ランダムなものを販売することもありません。アプリ内で購入できるのは、確定して手に入る買い切りひとつだけです。
レアな出土を、特別な演出で
化石は4段階のレア度で登場します。実際の産出量と知名度からレア度を割り当てており、めずらしい発見ほど額縁と演出が豪華になり、虹色にきらめく演出はUR（10種）だけのものです。レア度は色だけに頼らず、額縁の形と星の数でも見分けられます。

9つの年代を、1本の縦坑で
深度と地質年代は同じ1本の軸です。浅い層は第四紀——マンモスやサーベルタイガーなど、比較的身近な顔ぶれ。掘り進むほど岩は古くなり、中生代の看板恐竜たち、さらに古生代の風変わりな住人たちへ。図鑑も同じ並びなので、「どこまで深く掘れたか」と「どれだけ集まったか」が同じ画面で伸びていきます。

33人の発掘隊
33人のオリジナル水彩キャラクターを雇い、レベルを上げていきます。全員が自分で掘り、あなたが休んでいる間も手を止めません。「次に何を買うか」と「いつ手を止めて遡行するか」——この2つの判断が、このゲームの戦略のすべてです。10層ごとのボス地層が、進行の節目になります。
やさしい設計・アクセシビリティ
レア度は「額縁の色・額縁の形・星の数」の3通りで同時に示すので、色だけに頼らず読み取れます。「演出を控えめに」をオンにすると、画面の揺れ・閃光・破片の飛散が止まります（発掘の挙動はまったく変わりません）。4.83K のような略記も VoiceOver が正しく読み上げます。効果音とバイブレーションはそれぞれ個別に切り替えられ、両方オフでも問題なく遊べます。通知は1日1回・20時のみ、しかも実際にオフライン報酬がたまっているときだけ送ります。

- オート発掘——一定のレートで代わりに掘るので、手を休められます。自分でタップした分もそのまま加算され、合計の上限は手動のときと同じです。
課金しなくても、ゲーム内のすべての要素に到達できます。プレミアムが取り除くのは待ち時間であって、内容ではありません。広告除去を別の名目で買い直させるようなことも、いたしません。
正直にお伝えすること
- 復元イラストは生成AIで制作しています。水彩画風のオリジナル作品であり、写真ではありません。体色や軟組織はつねに推定を含みます。
- 登場するのはすべて実在の種です。学名・年代・産出地は Paleobiology Database（CC BY 4.0）に基づき、各エントリに taxon ID を表示しています。体長と食性は編集部による概数で、この出典の裏づけ範囲外です——その旨をエントリ自体に明記しています。
- 復元には諸説あります。根拠が薄い種については、そのことを隠さずエントリに表示します。詳しくは出典・クレジットをご覧ください。
- これはゲームであり、実物を同定・鑑定するアプリではありません。実物の化石が何であるかを判定するものではなく、その価値について語ることもありません。
- どの化石が出るかはランダムですが、発掘ポイント（EP）は購入できません（発掘・放置・任意の広告視聴でのみ貯まります）。ガチャ・ルートボックスはなく、ランダムなアイテムを販売することもありません。
- 広告はリワード動画のみ・2種類だけで、どちらも任意です（15分間ポイント2倍／すでに全額受け取ったオフライン報酬の2倍化）。バナー広告も強制インタースティシャルもありません。広告が表示できないときも、すべての機能はそのままお使いいただけます。
- 進捗はお使いのiPhoneの中にあります。ご自身で実行する iCloud バックアップと、ご自身で確認して行う復元を用意していますが、これは災害復旧であって端末間の同期ではありません。
